Here’s what you have to look forward to:

A PLACE TO BELONG. We welcome all people with open arms. Whether this is your first time to step foot in a Church or you’ve been a part of the Christian community your whole life – you will be welcomed here with a smile, friendly handshake, or even a hug (if you want one!). Our church family is a mixture of youthful age, to middle years to our seasoned age worshippers. Our Worship Service is usually just under two hours long. Mentrotone is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, Spirit-led body of believers that serves as fertile ground for the growth of God's people in the DMV and beyond.

A PLACE TO BELIEVE. Our Worship services are simple in form: centered on God’s grace and driven by God’s word. From singing songs, to praying to God, to learning from God’s Word…we focus on what matters most in this life. Our prayer is that you will find a safe space to learn about, explore, and express what you believe about God and how God loves you unconditionally.

A PLACE TO ASK QUESTIONS. Our Worship Services are a great entry point for someone who is seeking, skeptical, or curious. Doubt is not the absence of faith, it is a part of the substance of it. We all have questions – and you will find a safe space to explore, ask, and have those questions answered.

WHAT TO WEAR. There is no dress code at Mentrotone. We focus on the heart and not the outward appearance. You will find some dressed in their Sunday's best to some dressed casually in jeans. Please wear whatever you feel is comfortable for worship. We just ask that your attire is appropriate for church. We welcome you as you are.

PARKING. When you visit, there is parking in the church parking lot directly across from the church. There is also limited parking in the driveway on the west side of the church. There is ample on-street parking. Please make sure you obey any parking signs and do not block anyone's driveway or park in the nearby apartment lot.

SERVICE TIMES.  On Sundays, Sunday School begins at 9:30 am and ends at 10:30 am. Our Worship Service begins at 11 am and usually ends around 1 pm. The service may last longer if we have communion (3rd Sundays) or as the spirit leads us.

On Wednesdays, please join us for Prayer and Praise service at 7 pm, followed by Bible Study at 8 pm.

Due to the Coronavirus, we are currently worshipping by teleconference only. Please join us Sunday at 12 noon and Wednesday at 7pm by calling (712) 775-7270, access code 868187#.
